You are your own guru...

Hello friends.  I have started my blog, and this is the first post of many that will come. 
 
I have been recently reminded of a lesson my first mentor taught me some 30 years ago.  His name is Bob.  Bob is in spirit now, and is ever by my side helping to guide me to carry on the messages he taught me so long ago.  Bob told me to beware of putting people too high on a pedestal.  He said that the higher I put someone up, the further they have to fall (from my standard).  Bob further went on to ask me,  “if you put someone’s opinion up higher than your own, who’s fault is it when they disappoint you?”  I had to ‘chew’ on that for a bit.  As we discussed this concept some more, I started to understand his message.  He was saying that it is all well and good to look to other people’s perspectives when attempting to understand information of any kind.  However, as they are of this Earth, and they are human, there is a limit to anyone’s information in this Earthly consciousness that we are in.  And at some point, there is the possibility that the one we are looking to for all the answers is going to say something or do something that we don’t agree with at all.  At that moment, if we have granted an individual the status of being our Guru, then we will be terribly disappointed!  We will have cognitive dissonance!  How can it be that this person made such a grave error in judgement?  Well I have understood that if it were me going through all of this in the example, the answer would be it is MY responsibility for the upset, because I was the one who put that person up so high on this pedestal in the first place!  How could that person, being human, have possibly lived up to my expectations of God-like perfection?  After all, they have their human experiences and their human filters.  Even those with the gift of prophecy and intuition.  They too are reading only one possible timeline (the one you are on at the time of the reading), at one point in time, which may or may not come to fruition!!  And what if the psychic that read your timeline for you, or the collective, was absolutely spot-on at that moment in time, and then you somehow changed it?  You made another decision about your beliefs or you zigged instead of zagging?

More than any behavior (although beliefs and behaviors are intimately connected), YOUR thoughts and beliefs are what determine your timeline!  This is why so many in the healing and spiritual communities are shouting to the rooftops, “keep your highest vibration, be careful who you hang around and what you watch!”  Everything you ingest (take into your energetic field), from the main-stream news and mediums, to what your neighbor is saying, has energetic frequency.  You have energetic frequency.  And every time you invite someone else’s frequency to come dance with yours, you affect your own!  Free-will choice (wink wink).  And then you further affect your own frequency by what you believe to be true.  Do you accept what is said, or do YOU feel it in your body and heart and mind that it isn’t?  If you do have those feelings, do you listen to them and ignore what you’ve just been told?  Or do you ignore your internal compass and adopt what another has said because you have given them Guru status (God-like), and believe that everything they say must be true?

I hope and pray that everyone has taken the choice to listen to their own internal ‘voice’.  Those body messages, mind messages, and heart messages that shout or whisper, “I don’t believe that,” or they say, “that feels true to me.”  This is your Higher Self, your inner self, that is communicating to you and with you at every moment of your life.  Some call this instinct.  We in the quantum healing community call that your inner guidance.  It is provided by your Higher Self, your guides, the ascended masters, the angels, other spirits in your soul’s group that work with you from the ‘other side,’ and many other spirits that we cannot see but come in to assist us on this journey.  Now you may wonder, ‘how do I know what is coming in for me is good or bad’?  It’s very simple.  You get what you ask for.  If you ask for the highest level of guidance, for the highest good of All, that is what you will receive.  And if you feel better about putting some white light around you as you ask for guidance, that is always a solid way to know you are protected.

In closing, I hope that I have shed some light as to why you are your own Guru.  No one else can be.  Back in the day of the original Gurus, so many people were in lesser consciousness (forgetfulness) that they needed ‘enlightened’ individuals to be sent to Earth to help them find their own light.  These teachers (humans called them Gurus) were still in human form, and yes; they were incredibly connected, but still human.  In this current moment point reality and for a while now, so many of us are remembering our own power (becoming enlightened).  We are remembering that we create our reality and that we choose what our belief is,  based on internal knowing rather than what someone else has said to be true!  And this my friends, is why YOU are your own Guru.  Thank you for reading this, and feel free to comment.  Unlike some others, I am not bothered if your truth is different than mine!  All truths are true depending on your perspective!!  I’m going to be saying that a lot.

I want you to know that these blog posts are about the culmination of my life experiences and my personal journey on Earth, my explorations in quantum healing, my association with other quantum healers, and my association with other ‘light workers’ that have come to this incarnation to assist in the ascension.  We (humans) are all doing this together and moving faster than ever to unity consciousness in the collective energies we call human consciousness.  We are all One, having individual experiences in this now, this space time reality.  And we are remembering that we are all One.  How exciting is it to discover that everything in our experience was planned by us, before incarnating, and that there is a reason for each and every experience that we included into our life plan?  Good or bad, hard or easy; it is all for very good reasons.  And we have help!  So very much help.  Other souls that signed up and agreed to help us, which helps them, to find our way home.  This existence in what we see as our reality is but a blip on the radar of the infinite experience of the immortal soul.  One tiny experience in what we call time.  There are infinite experiences, but let’s focus on this current one, shall we?  This is my introduction to the kinds of topics I will discuss in my blog.  I will invite you to agree or disagree with anything I write.  These are the visions I am lending you from my experience of truth, from my perspective.  They are only my truths.  Everyone has their own truth, and all truths are true, depending on your perspective.  This subject; truth, I will cover in another post.  If you have any questions about the terms I am using here, please ask in the comments.
