Time to start creating consciously instead of unconsciously. How do we do that? Intention. Decide and intend everything you wish to experience and see manifest in your life. Simple? Maybe. I suggest that it can be simple if you are willing to change your thinking a little about your ability to create rather than looking at life’s happenings as something that is dictated to you, chance happenings, or that someone outside of you knows your capabilities better than you do.
I’ll start with asking you if you have at one point in your life been aware of a situation where someone was told by a medical professional that their cancer (or other illness) was incurable, or at such a stage where it was highly unlikely that they would recover, but did recover anyway? Have you ever heard about a person who had a paralyzing injury that was told they would never walk again, but did anyway? How about a person with an illness that could not be identified that was on the verge of physical death, maybe even in a coma, but then they came out of the coma and no evidence of their illness could be found? Have you heard of the man whos’ parachute didn’t open after a 5000 ft jump out of a plane and he didn’t die, but bounced and only broke a leg? These examples can be easily searched and found.
What happened in these examples? These folks consciously intended NOT to listen to what their medical professionals were telling them would be their reality, and in the case of the parachutist; he decided and intended that he was light as a feather and would not die. They intended (based on a decision) that they would recover and continue living, sometimes better than before. With more joy in life and pursuing those things which bring them this joy. (see Anita Moorjani’s work, Dying to be Me).
We are creator beings and aspects of Source. We can create anything in our physical world that we wish to manifest. If you don’t believe me, investigate some interviews by Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods. Both have talked about visualization of their performance, intention to be the best at something (basketball and golf), and the work they put in towards those intentions. Visualization is only focused intention of something, and putting your energy into the visual. The process of thought, word and deed is the focused intention to attain something or a state of being. So, if I am always saying to myself, “I am fat, I never lose weight, every diet I ever try does not work, I am fat because it is genetic and there is nothing I can do about it,” I am unconsciously affirming over and over again the intention that my body is incapable of changing form. I am powerless due to these thoughts, beliefs and words. Change this consciously by intending that the body is totally healthy and well. Affirm in everything you do, that all of the functions of the body are in tip top shape and will continue to be that way. If you wish to drop weight, start intending to let go of the weight that no longer serves you. Thank it for it’s service (i.e. protecting you from harm from the outside world; trauma, protecting you from ever being hungry; fear of poverty, etc), and release it in your mind. Tell your body it is ok to let go of the excess weight. Try saying to yourself, “I no longer hold on to extra fat in my body because I am safe and strong and do not need to be protected by it.”
If you wish to become a better athlete, businessperson, artist, friend, keeper of the Earth, more peaceful, a healer, whatever you wish to be; INTEND it! Visualize it happening, ask for guidance from the universal energies, and feel in yourself the feelings of what it is like to achieve these goals as if you already have them. Thought, word, and deed. This is the way we create consciously.
One of the things we need to get past when we are consciously intending for anything is societal beliefs about it, that we may have adopted, which say that it isn’t possible. Our best and highest intentions can and will be derailed if we have a belief within us that is counter to our intention. So, if I intend to win a lottery, but I hold a belief that all people with lots of money are bad, or that having a lot of money is the root of all evil, well then, the chances of me winning the lottery are very slim because I do not wish to be “bad” or “evil.” My conscious desire to have more abundance cannot come into being because my unconscious beliefs about it are stronger in energy, which blocks the intention energy. What if I believe that I don’t deserve such abundance, because after all, there are people out there that don’t have enough food to eat and a shelter to live in, so why do I deserve to have so much money? That belief will derail it too. I will help shift these beliefs for you. Contrast the above with new thoughts, such as; there is more than enough abundance in the world and the universe for each soul that chooses to have it, I will not be taking anything away from someone else by having this money, there are many rich people in the world that donate their time and money and assist and lift others, I would never use money for any purpose that would be harmful to other people, the planet, or the animal kingdom, therefore; if I have a lot of money, I will still be a good person.
Can you feel the difference in the energy of those contrasting statements? Does it make sense that when you shift your beliefs from the negative to the affirmative, your intentions now have supportive energy to call them into being and not blockages? Thought, word, and deed. These are the tools of creation. Belief is the key to proper thoughts. Talk about the thing you wish for in the affirmative, always. And take action toward that which you wish to create in your life. These are the tools of intention, and intention is creation. Most of us have been creating unconsciously for so long. It’s time to be aware of our own ability to CREATE, now. All you have to do is intend.
